The Art of Blue Earth History is an exclusive farm to table dining event in Mahkato’s historic landscape. The exceptional ceramic skills of artist Jon Nibbe transforms the rare blue clay of our region into serving ware celebrating our collective history and the strength found through collaboration between two of our most essential culture organizations. The Art of Blue Earth Dinner is developed by the Blue Earth County Historical Society andTwin Rivers Council for the Arts.
A short program and entertainment will accompany a silent auction on Jack McGowan’s historic farm. Up to 50 dining participants will receive a cup and bowl made from Blue Earth Clay harvested from this same land.
