NOW ACCEPTING BOARD APPLICATIONS

Twin Rivers is currently accepting applications for our 2025 Board of Directors. Our organization is seeking forward thinking, energetic people to help support Twin Rivers, our many new exciting initiatives, and guide our organization into the future.

Applications should be completed and submitted, along with your resume, by 11.4.24.

The key criteria for Twin Rivers Board member include:

• Possess an interest in the growth and development of all forms of art and culture; skill in particular art forms is not a requisite.

• Possess: honesty, sensitivity to and tolerance of differing views, a friendly, responsive, and patient approach, community-building skills, personal integrity, a developed sense of values, a sense of humor, and concern for the Twin Rivers’ development and a belief in its mission.

• Demonstrated experience in community leadership roles; comprehensive knowledge and insight into community and/or arts organization structures in your area with special emphasis on needs and resources.

• Willingness to work cooperatively with other board members and staff.

• Ability to work with individuals and groups of all socioeconomic levels within both the Twin Rivers and the region.

• Willing to: prepare for and attend monthly board and committee meetings, ask questions, take responsibility and follow through on a given assignment, contribute personal and financial resources in a generous way according to circumstances, open doors in the community, evaluate oneself.

• Develop certain skills if you do not already possess them, such as to: cultivate and solicit funds, cultivate and recruit board members and other volunteers, read and understand financial statements, learn more about the substantive program area of Twin Rivers.
