“From Myself” is a series of large scale oil paintings created by artist Sophia Weisensel. To create this series of paintings, she drew upon memories as her influence. Due to the elusive nature of memory, the paintings are not exact representations of events, but rather images that relay an emotion or movement in a moment. Each painting focuses on women, as the paintings are from the artist’s point of view.

The show will be hanging from June 7-28 at the Emy Frentz Gallery
