Luke Splinter - $1,000 grant
Luke Splinter is a sculptor and installation artist working mainly with wood, metal, and resin. He studied sculpture and photography at MSU Mankato and received a BFA in sculpture and a MA in sculpture while there. Luke’s work is geometrically abstract and focuses on the interaction between the viewer and the pieces as well as the interaction between the pieces themselves. In all of his work, he tries to create pieces that have a sense of history, use, age, and mystery.

Amanda Jordan
Amanda Jordan is a current Master of Art Candidate at Minnesota State University, Mankato Specializing in painting, drawing, and installation, Amanda highlights ordinary human moments through vibrancy of color, size, and expression. The sometimes-recognizable subject matter represented in her work has a personal edge when it comes to the manipulation of bold color. Amanda's artwork is strongly influenced by consumerism, color psychology, and pop culture.
Ashley Siehler
Ashley Siehler is a neurodivergent artist working semi-professionally since 2018. Her work focuses on where the fantastical and the ordinary meet, illustrating magical scenes that could happen downtown or in the backyard. She also finds comfort in the loose and easy work of folk painting, embellishing surfaces as small as chicken eggs with swirling florals and critters. She works primarily with ink, watercolor, and gouache. Her work has been displayed in the Libertytown Arts Workshop of Fredericksburg, VA, and locally in the Arts Center of Saint Peter and the Carnegie Art Center of Mankato. She currently lives in the ecosystem of Kasota, MN, with her family.
