Meet Benji Inniger—our Best in Art v11.22 Grant Recipient
Benji Inniger - $1,000 Grant
Benji is a nationally award-winning sound designer, composer, recording engineer, musician, and director from North Mankato, MN and received his MFA from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Some of his regional theatre credits include work with Des Moines Metro Opera, Cincinnati Playhouse In The Park, The Guthrie Theatre, The Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center, Trinity Repertory Company, and the Minnesota Jewish Theatre Company. He has composed music for the Mankato Symphony Orchestra, Mankato Area Youth Symphony Orchestra, Film Score Fest, and Storycorps for National Public Radio. Benji works as a video game composer and sound designer, associate professor of Theatre and Music at Bethany Lutheran College, and is the Concert Manager of the chamber music producing organizations: Summit Avenue Music Series and Promusica Minnesota.

Amy Poburka is an illustrator and designer living in Minneapolis. She has architectural and design agency experience, both of which appear in her work. She has worked with notable clients, including Google and Taco Bell. Her style is warm, friendly and sometimes funny. In her free time, she enjoys cooking for family and friends and renovating the bungalow she shares with her fiancée and their calico cat.
