Sarah Houle

Sarah is a Mankato-based low brass musician, composer, arranger, and music educator. She performs with several local ensembles. Her website, www.euphoniousmusic.com, is a work in progress that showcases many of her creative musical endeavors.


Robert Johnson

Robert is from the rural driftless area of southwest Wisconsin. He has a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and is currently in the MFA Creative Writing program at Minnesota StateUniversity, Mankato. His short fiction has appeared in Contours: A Literary Landscape and the Spirit Lake Review. He was a semi-finalist for the Wisconsin Academy of Arts, Science, and Letters 2023 poetry contest. His "painted poem" series, inspired by Kenneth Patchen, began as a reward for donors to a Kickstarter campaign to publish a poetry chapbook, Cut Me Out in Little Birds. Johnson has also worked and served as a middle/high school teacher, community organizer, crisis counselor, grant writer, taxi dispatcher, bartender, music festival curator, and elementary para where he happily answered to the name "Mr Bob."


Anthony Alessi

Anthony is currently a first year student at Minnesota State University, Mankato majoring in marketing and music industry. Specializing in digital artwork/photography as well as experimental music composition, Anthony uses all avenues of creating to portray a story of existence, being human, existentialism, and mental health. Crafting worlds with an innate sense of color, texture, and alternative expressionism through photography and electronic music, stemming from both personal and fictional stories
