Twin Rivers Invites You to Become a Best in Art Series Participating Artist

The Best in Art Series is open to artists of all disciplines: visual arts, performance arts, musical arts, culinary arts, etc. Selected artists give a 10-minute demonstration on the day of the event. During that time, artists can give the attendees a taste of art, what they would use the money for (wish list, future projects, school, insurance—literally anything to advance their artistic profession) or future projects that they're working toward that may need more compensation. This event is designed to gift artists money and a platform to connect with the community to ensure art is kept alive in the region.

Are you an artist looking for an opportunity to present your work to the art community? Apply today for the upcoming show in Twin Rivers’ Best in Art Series. The application is intentionally kept simple and easy to fill out so Best in Art can be accessible to all creatives! Each event three artists are selected to showcase their work at the event. Each of the three artists receives a stipend for participating, with event guests voting for which artist will receive a $1,000 grant. Artists that are not selected for the current event in the series will remain in the selection pool for the next event.

SuBMISSION Criteria:

  • The Best in Art series is open to artists of all disciplines: visual arts, performance arts, musical arts, culinary arts, etc.

  • All applicants are required to submit contact information for the artist. Twin Rivers staff will reach out to artists with updates to their status in the selection process. Artists that do not respond to official communications within two business days will be at risk of losing their place in the current event.

  • Each applicantion must be accompanied by examples of the artist’s recent (within the last year) body of work. Files will be able to be submitted through the nomination form and should be labeled with the artist’s name, the title of the work, and the dimensions of each piece. (Up to five attachments per nomination form).

  • Selected artists will be expected to provide a headshot and brief artist bio.
