The inaugural annual Arts by the River in Mankato is an art fair dedicated to bringing fine arts to the forefront of the Southern Minnesota region.  Located in the beautiful and recently-completed Riverfront Park, Arts by the River will bring together the community with fine arts, live music performances in the amphitheater, fabulous food and drink vendors, along with an area for children’s activities to keep the whole family entertained.

Participate in the Community Showcase

Are you a Greater Mankato artist who missed the booth application deadline or are involved in an art organization that wants to have a presence at the fair? Then be a part of the Community Showcase!

The Community Showcase is an opportunity for local artists, poets, writers, musicians, and arts-related organizations to participate in Arts by the River.  The Community Showcase will be comprised of individuals, groups, and organizations who do not frequently display at arts fairs.  This tent (60’x30’) will showcase community engagement through the arts by displays, communication, and demonstrations.

Simply download the  Community Showcase Application Form, fill it out and return it to Twin Rivers Council for the Arts at 523 S. 2nd St., Mankato, MN 56001.
